April 17th was the first Jeg's Super Quick race of the year! The event was held at Lucas Oil Raceway (formerly O'Reilly Raceway Park) in Indianapolis, IN. The weekend began with rain-outs of the Friday test session and Saturday qualifying, but racing finally got underway on Sunday.

In addition to the Jeg's Super Quick class we also entered Super Pro so that we could make some extra passes. On our first Super Pro time trial we spun the tires very hard and responded by making a shock and time pressure adjustment. While in the staging lanes for our first Jeg's qualifying pass the starter broke and we had to return to the trailer, missing the pass. After a quick run to the parts store we finally made 2 good passes, both without nitrous.
We qualified #25 in the 64 car field.

We won first round of Super Pro but then missed second round as we were still in line for Super Quick, effectively making us a second round loser in Super Pro.

We raced Jacob Bach first round and won, then were defeated by Brad Plourd second round. Brad dumped on me so I hit the brakes but it wasn't quite enough.
