On June 12th we raced in Super Pro in the NHRA Division 3 State Championship race at Chandler Motorsports Park in Chandler, IN.
We got 2 time trials. For the first one we removed the air filter in the new scoop to see if it would make a difference in ET. We shook the tires at the gear change fairly hard on the first pass, so our ET was relatively slow. We put the air filter back in for the second time trial and the rest of the evening. We used 200hp worth of nitrous for 1.5 seconds all day so that we'd qualify for the Quick 16. We qualified #2!

We lost first round of the Quick 16, then bought back. We got down to 5 cars, split the money, and then lost to Billy Schlumpf who went on to runner-up. Congratulations to Gene Cron, the State Champion!
